Manly mustashe indeed. The Inca Tern may be impressed, but I don’t think our other manly man is…

Calm, control and well-being. The perfect picture of John Farrow.

Is it Christmas Yet?

Interesting joke in light of speculation about a certain character’s “Tiny black tail”…

So, as (obliquely) requested by  wolseley37, gifs of Ernst von Fleischel-Marxov rising from the water like Venus (or something that rhymes with her).

These aren’t my gifs. I put out to tender, and received these offerings per email from a pair of chickens (*berk-berk-berk-berk* certain people out there who know who they are).  So don’t blame me for the horizontal lines of interference (which are apparently due to the video file not being de-interlaced during ripping. And if you know what that means, you’re a better gal than I am, Gunga Din).

This is MK in character, playing a guy getting out of the bath.

*berk-berk-berk-berk*

I can’t help but notice that Mrvon Fleischel-Marxov has a tiny, black tail. Weird. I thought Austrians (Dutch??? Whatever the ‘ell nationality he was) were built the same as everyone else.

tayryn said: It’s a cute little backside… but there’s not much to it, is there?

Please don’t get me started on his adorable micro-bum

The little black tail is merely swept-together inner thigh hair, like seaweed tossed on the shore. Not to worry. - Unless Austrians ARE built differently. Now that WOULD be attention to detail!
Anyway, I’d be happy to help dry him off, towel at the ready.

May I just remind the (*berk-berk-berk*) non-reblogger chooks out there that
Freud is rated 12 :D

Forget every “Miss America” or “Mr. Universe” beauty contest you may have seen.

MK takes first prize as a Bathing Beauty.

DCS Foyle thinks. Thinks. Thinks.

His brilliant mind is at work, the wheels spinning as his all-seeing eyes dart back and forth, his eyelids blinking slowly. The frown lines between his eyebrows deepen with concern over the problem now facing him. A single finger twitches across his sensitive mouth, followed by the sweep of a strong, yet tender hand.

Interesting information…although I don’t know how they got changed or who did it.
This reminded me of the Foyle’s War episode when Milner was telling his wife about his leg…”It’s Al-u-min-i-um”.
OK. I KNEW what he MEANT, but couldn’t get over the pronunciation. Now I get it…we say ‘A-lu-mi-num’!

A “hallo, sir!”, *pivot*, a side of curls, and a breathless, grinning Sam…
Allow me…

And a gentleman always walks on the outside…he’s nothing if not a gentleman…

Where were you … ?

I had just arrived at work and the news sounded like something out of a Tom Clancy novel. At first, I didn’t want to believe what was happening, but had to accept that the nightmare was real. 😢

In memory of those who died. Never forget.
