With the help of piano music by Schubert, Brownlow demonstrates his change of heart toward Rose’s suitor, Dr. Losberne.
Schubert was a rather unfortunate fellow and terribly plain — adored women, but sadly women did not adore him. And he had neither fame nor wealth. But he did give piano lessons to many young ladies, and he always made sure he sat to the left where you are now, and the young lady sat to the right — which would explain why he wrote duets, which allowed those playing the duets to reach over, cross over — and touch.
Now, even Mr Horowitz is on record as saying that The Hide is meant to be ambiguous about the parentage of James, but looking at that last gif… really? Granted, if you just go by the script, the meaning could swing either way. But NOT with that performance from MK. No way. He telegraphs the truth of things in one split-second blink.
I love this actor.
Ditto. Especially I love this actor part…
Oh, MK is so luscious in this scene!! And of course he’s telling James that he’s his real father, and James knew it. Just look at there faces…it’s obvious.
